![]() I'm actually shocked being one of the only people here talked about this, since there's way too much games on the PS2 that are interlaced-only. So my question is : Is it possible to force-enable progressive scan on a game that supports 480p. ![]() every time i open the game or change settings and re-open the game, the game runs in slow motion or with framerate drops to 20fps. So either i play a blurred version of the game, or either i'm playing that disgusting shaking game on ecstasy. Hi everyone Today is my birthday and i wanted to play Scarface the world is yours for PS2 using PCSX2 emulator after having a bad bad bad experience with the PC version of the game so i prefer to play the PS2 version. So i'm playing the US release of Gran Turismo 4 now, but even with the progessive mode enabled, the menus are forced to stay in 480i for some reason. Only problem : I cannot see Gran Turismo 4 on that list, which is sad because i'm playing the PAL release of the game ( I'm speaking French ), and the PAL release of Gran Turismo 4 only supports 480i, a guy said on a forum that the code for 1080i and 480p output is completely GONE from the game. So i checked the description of that video i just sent, and, there was this " no interlacing codes " thread which got me interested. Tried some different games, and turns out a HUGE portion of the image quality that's eaten by the disgusting interlacing. ![]() Now that the 1.6.0 update came out, i wanted to try if anything was different, but it seems like it's the same shit than before.īut, i tried to search on the Internet how to make my games look like this : īut no one, absolutely no one has ever talked about that, you know, you always get the usual " try these settings " threads and all but it's always disgusting at the end. Iv'e been using PCSX2 for years, but iv'e always disliked PS2 emulation for one particular reason : The quality of the image is just straight up awful.
